On November 10, on the occasion of the 110th anniversary of South China Agricultural University, ocean college also welcomed 340 alumni back to participate in the ceremony.

At 10:30 a.m., teachers, students and alumni of the college gathered in Jiaoyi square, and Secretary Xin Qixing presided over the celebration ceremony of the college. On behalf of the college, President Qin Qiwei expressed his welcome to the alumni, reviewed the development history of the college and the college, as well as the achievements of the college at present, and expressed his heartfelt thanks and sincere blessing to the teachers and students, alumni and people from all walks of life who have been concerned about the development of the college. At 14:00 p.m., the founding meeting of the first alumni Council was held in Jiaoyi 204.
