Ocean Institute held the post doctoral conference of Dong Yiwei

On October 28, 2019, Dr. Dong Yiwei's late full assessment exit report of ocean College of South China Agricultural University was held in room 214, the first teaching building. Professor Qin Qiwei, Dean of the school of Oceanography, served as the leader of the assessment team, which was composed of researcher Wang Xiuqi, Professor Liu Wensheng, Professor Wang Jun and Professor Pan Qing of the school of animal sciences.

Dong Yiwei's postdoctoral co tutors are Professor Li Yuanyou of Ocean University and Professor Jiang Qingyan of School of animal science. Before the report meeting, Li Yuanyou introduced Dong Yiwei's performance in the past two years. Then, under the chairmanship of Professor Qin Qiwei, Dong Yiwei reported to the experts, teachers and classmates on the progress and main achievements of postdoctoral research on the regulation mechanism of long chain polyunsaturated fatty acids (LC-PUFA) synthesis of ceruleus maculatus, and seriously answered the questions raised by the experts of the nuclear examination group.

During his postdoctoral period, Dong Yiwei published two SCI papers of the first author and three SCI papers of the first author with South China Agricultural University as the first unit, and obtained one respectively from NSFC youth fund and China Postdoctoral Science Fund as the host, which exceeded the work tasks stipulated in the postdoctoral agreement. Its work performance was unanimously affirmed by the members of the assessment team, and it was evaluated as excellent at the expiration of the assessment period.

It is reported that Dong Yiwei is the first outbound postdoctoral of Ocean University since its establishment in 2016.
