Associate Professor Wang Kai of Sun Yat-sen University was invited to give a lecture on freshman professional education at Ocean College

On the morning of September 17, 2019, Associate Professor Wang Kai, School of Ocean Engineering, Sun Yat-sen University, came to Ocean College to give an excellent lecture on ocean engineering and equipment to freshmen majoring in marine science of Grade 19.

Associate Professor Wang Kai graduated from Harbin University of Engineering, then went to Norway for his master's degree and doctor's degree. After graduation, he worked in Norway in marine engineering. In 17 years, Sun Yat-sen University introduced him to teach in China.

In the lecture, Professor Wang Kai introduced the particularity of marine environment for the freshmen of Marine Science Major of grade 19. The research progress of marine engineering equipment in marine energy utilization, oil and gas drilling platform, deep-water cage culture and other aspects helped freshmen of marine science to increase their understanding of the ocean.
