Personal profile:

Zhou Aiguo, male, born in September 1987, member of the Communist Party of China, Ph.D. in South China Agricultural University, master tutor. The research direction is aquatic animal genetic breeding and seed industry, and the research on aquatic green ecological breeding mode, including aquatic animal germplasm resources, new varieties development, aquatic product quality and safety, green ecological farming technology and culture tailwater ecological treatment technology. In 2014, he obtained the professional skill certificate of the national freshwater aquatic animal breeding breeder. In recent years, he has published more than 60 papers in Gene, Cell Stress and Chaperone, Aquaculture Research, Mitochondrial DNA, Pakistan Journal of Zoology, Indian Journal of Fisheries, Indian Journal Of Animal Research, Journal of Aquatic Biology, and Marine Science. Aquatic Animal Breeding, Haihuahai Salt and Water Production, Study on the Conservation of Water Source Protection in Songmushan Reservoir, etc. He won 2 second prizes of Guangdong Agricultural Technology Promotion Award, 1 third prize, and an advanced team of national assistance for precision poverty alleviation. Apply for or participate in 6 patent applications and 2 authorized. He is currently a member of the Guangzhou National Comprehensive Experimental Station of the National Large-scale Freshwater Fish Industry Technical System, a member of the Guangdong Rural Professional Technical Association, and a member of the Agricultural Technology and Management Technical Skills Committee of the Food and Drug Department of Qingyuan Vocational and Technical College. Reviewers for several journals such as Cell Stress and Chaperone, Insights in Aquaculture and Biotechnology, Journal of Aquaculture Research & Development, and International journal of Bioassays.

The main research areas:

1. Mainly use basic biology, molecular biology, genomics, etc. to mine, develop and evaluate high-quality fish germplasm resources, and combine traditional breeding, cross breeding, multiple sports species and molecular marker breeding to develop new fish species. . By screening and identifying the fish's excellent reproductive, growth, whitening, behavioral and immune-related functional genes, we attempt to obtain key regulatory networks and their intrinsic regulatory mechanisms.
