    Title: Associate Professor

    Contact: yanweili@scau.edu.cn

Personal profile:

In the past five years, he has hosted one National Natural Science Fund, one post-doctoral science fund, one natural science fund of Guangdong Province, and two national natural science funds and two national science and technology support plan projects. He has published 38 academic papers, including 35 papers in SCI, 1 fishery industry standard of the Ministry of Agriculture, 1 monograph, and 1 Guangdong Science and Technology Award.

Award, honorary title:

“Study on the biology and comprehensive prevention and control technology of the cryptic nucleus” won the second prize of the 2014 Guangdong Science and Technology Award (6/10).

Research areas:

The research field is the research and development of streptococcosis and stimulating cryptospirosis vaccines, which are harmful to China's fish farming industry, and the immune mechanism of fish disease resistance. The specific research directions are as follows:
1. Fish TLR signaling pathway gene function the study. A large number of TLRs and their signaling pathway genes were identified, and their structural features and stimulating the expression of these genes were analyzed. The functional studies were carried out, and the fish IRAK4 and TAK1 were first discovered. Negative regulation of the -κB signal.
2. Research on immune prevention and control technology for important diseases of fish. The research team carried out the development of a vaccine to stimulate the Cryptocaryon sinensis, the tilapia S. agalactiae vaccine, and the ovum-shaped S. faecium whole-cell vaccine, and evaluated the regulation of vaccine immunity against host disease resistance and immunity. effect. The screening of fish-stimulated Cryptocaryon irritans and Streptococcus immunogenic proteins was carried out to evaluate the potential of good immunogenic proteins as candidate antigens for subunit vaccines, laying the foundation for the development of subunit vaccines. The tilapia streptococci-free whole-bacteria inactivated vaccine was approved by the Ministry of Agriculture for clinical trials of veterinary biological products in May 2015 (the tilapia streptococci inactivated vaccine (THN strain) clinical trial, approval No.: 2015030).
