The undergraduate Party branch develops the organizational life meeting of Xi Jinping's thought of governing the country.

In April 23, 2018, the Party branch of the undergraduates of the oceanographic College held a meeting in the 214 conference room of the Institute of oceanographic college. The theme of the meeting was to exchange and study Xi Jinping's political and political thoughts. At the meeting, there were a total of 19 Party branch members, including Party branch secretary Chen Dongming and Deputy Secretary Liang Jie.

The first item of the conference, collectively watched the micro documentary change - the four years of Xi Jinping's rule and administration, which was filmed by the people's daily in 2017, mainly about the deeds and ideas of the government since November 15, 2012, since Xi Jinping was elected as the general secretary of the central Committee of the Communist Party of China.
In the second session of the conference, the members of the Party branch shared their own learning experiences. All of them focused on the five development ideas of Xi Jinping's political and political ideas, namely, the general secretary Xi Jinping put forward the five development ideas of innovation, coordination, green, open and sharing in the fifth Plenary Session of the 18th CPC Central Committee, and discussed the policy of precision poverty alleviation. Through mutual communication, we have deepened our understanding of the theme.
